Meet Markneil Bances Madrelejos
Markneil Bances Madrelejos is a passionate coffee enthusiast, specialty coffee expert, and accomplished latte art champion dedicated to elevating the Philippine coffee industry. With years of experience in coffee brewing, roasting, and education, he has become a respected figure in the local and international coffee community.
As a strong advocate for Filipino coffee farmers, Markneil actively supports sustainable coffee production and works closely with local farming communities to promote the quality and potential of Philippine-grown coffee. His mission is to bridge the gap between farm and cup while creating greater opportunities for local producers.
He is the Founder of Latte Art Philippines, a thriving community that nurtures coffee professionals and enthusiasts through competitions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. He also founded Jack and the First Crack Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee company committed to sourcing, roasting, and showcasing exceptional coffee beans. In addition, he established the Philippine Latte Art Academy, a premier training institution dedicated to developing world-class baristas and coffee professionals.
Driven by his passion for coffee excellence, innovation, and education, Markneil continues to inspire the next generation of coffee artisans while championing the growth of the Philippine specialty coffee industry.
